At St. John's we make use of several free, open-source software applications in our computer lab. One advantage this offers is that students may install the same software we use in the lab on their home computers at no cost. Links to the software downloads are provided below. Alternatively, school families may request a CD with all of the software installation files from Mrs. Draper.

Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design.
